Akkkademiks Eat Trees For Lunch- People’s Park for the People
 

Fingers, limbs, skin – green, brown, shades of pink and red
Lifting up to Tonateu, Father Sky, the Sun
Holding Back his rays, scorching, burning until fire days are done…

Together we reach out and can hardly breathe and always they are there
Those healing Mama Trees –
Shading us
Feeding us
Breathing us
Working so hard for us humans who do nothing but desecrate and take

Shade can’t be made
By an Akkkademik study, research grant or a fellowShip
Can’t be replicated in your wite science labs-
Full of students claiming they’re here to learn
But allow Mama Trees to be stolen for luxury dorms
Teachers in ecology, philosophy, art and science too
Whose silences are complicit while Mama Earth gets Torn into pieces by the people educating you?

I’m grieving for these murdered Mama Trees –
Over 40 I am told
On this kkkampus alone

Because this houseless poverty skola was able to sleep safely shaded by their loving warmth

Meanwhile Colonial lies continue to kill us all while
CLimate Terrorists move foreward with bulldozers, poLice helmets
Burning, poisoning, eating and masticating all of Mama Earth they can take
